ADMISSION

1.   This Junior College is Govt. recognised, Aided and a Religious Minority College, under minority certificate No. 318 of 2008/30778 dated 30/09/08 Issued by Secretary, National Commission for Minority Educational Institution, New Delhi. Hence 50% seats are reserved for minority students i.e. Roman Catholics. (for details see page no. 10)

2.    Admission forms are available on the website.

3.    Admission will be given on merit, as per the State Government policy.

4.    The admission form has to be filled in correctly and duly signed by the student seeking admission and by his / her parent / guardian. Having the required percentage of marks does not automatically guarantee admission to the college.

5.    The merit list of candidates selected for admission will be put up on the notice board on the specified days.

6.    Selected candidates must pay the admission fees in the Vijaya Bank, Papdy Branch, on Account No. 457 on the day when the merit list is put up and submit the receipt to the college office on the very same day along with the admission form and the following documents.

         Statement of marks of S.S.C. Examination (Original with two attested photocopies

          Original School Leaving Certificate with one attested photo copy. 

         Photo copy of Ration Card                                                                                            

         Eligibility Certificate in case of a student passing examination from other than Maharashtra State  Board of Secondary Education.

         An undertaking to fulfill certain conditions with regard to attendance, discipline, scholarship, in the prescribed form duly signed by the applicant and his / her parent / guardian.

         A recent passport size photograph of the applicant should be duly affixed on the application form.       

         Roman Catholic students should submit Baptism Certificate along with the form.

7.    Your admission will be confirmed only when you receive admission slip from the college office.

8.    No admission will be confirmed without School Leaving certificate and Marklist in original and photo copy.

9.    Students whose names appear on the merit list will not be admitted if they fail to pay admission fees and submit the admission form in time on the very day of the merit list.

10. The merit list will be revised regularly till all the seats are filled up. 

11. F.Y.J.C. Classes will begin on the day specified by the Education Department.

12. Once the student is admitted to the college, he/she will be liable to pay full fees.

13. Once admitted, the student will be considered as duly enrolled for this academic year unless his / her parents inform the Principal in writing of their intention to leave the college at least a week before the commencement of the second term. If not, such student is liable to pay full fees for the second term.

14. The applicants belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe and Economically Backward Class are not required to pay tuition fees, provided they are among the first two children of their parents. Students eligible for such scholarship / freeship must fill and submit forms on or before the dates specified by the Principal failing which, they will have to pay tuition fees.

15. Girls are not required to pay tuition fees provided they are among the first two children of their parents. They must fill the concession form accordingly.

16. Vocational courses are taught in this college. Students desiring to opt for vocational courses will require to pay the fees for these courses.

17. Students can avail the following facilities provided by the college. However, they should abide by the rules, regulations and conditions laid down by the college management from time to time.
